What You Can Upgrade
- Refrigeration: Cool rooms & freezer rooms (Activity 43 – VEU), commercial fridges, controls, door seals, monitoring.
- HVAC: High-efficiency ducted, multi-split, VRF/VRV, BMS integration.
- Hot Water & Other: High-efficiency heat pumps, lighting, and more (where eligible). We’ll advise on what qualifies under VEU (VIC) or ESS (NSW) for your business and site.
VEU (Victoria) – Business Incentives
The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program provides discounts for approved energy-efficient products and activities — including commercial refrigeration and HVAC — when delivered by an accredited provider. Cold room upgrades are supported under Activity 43 (new installs or retrofit scenarios).
